Description of Service: A program, varying from time to time, provides family services and educational activities which may include, for example- mothers groups, parenting skills; healthy living classes, domestic violence support groups; domestic violence assistance.

Established groups: Indoor Bowls Seniors Group; It's Storytime; Behavioural Problems Support Group.

Information & Referral for services in the local community & Central Coast, including community groups.

Other Services Provided: Photocopying, fax, laminating, binding, help with resumes and letter writing.

Regular Services within the Centre

Before & After School Care/Vacation Care: Available to assist parents of primary school aged children. Vacation Care is also available during school holidays providing various recreational activities. Priority is given to parents working, studying or training.

Hours 6.30am to 6.30pm school days & school holidays.

Early childhood clinic, Area Health, by appointments only -- 0243287900, operates Tuesday & Wednesday 8.30-am-5.00pm, including school holidays.

Coast Care Counselling: By appointment only, by referral, self or agency--phone -0243401724. Cost from $15-$35 based on income.

Immunisation Clinic: No appointment necessary. No charge, Tuesday fortnightly from 12noon to 1.00pm.

Weight Watchers: Wednesday evening from 7.00pm to 8.00pm.

Australian Breastfeeding Association: Meets twice monthly. Parenting skills, support & advice for breastfeeding mothers, share & care session.

Yarran Early Intervention Service: Fortnightly on Fridays, for families with young children with disabilities. Phone 1800 059 059 or 43489933.

St Vincent de Paul: Monday & Thursday 12.30-2.30pm with Sister Fabian, no appointment necessary. Not school holidays or public holidays.

Young Mums Group: Meet twice monthly. Free childminding available.

Flutterby Playgroup: Meet weekly during school term only. Child care worker assisting. No cost.

Down Syndrome Group: For primary or younger aged Down children. Meet monthly on Saturday afternoons at 2pm to 4pm.

Tax Help: From July to October each year. Appointment essential.

Santa Letters: For children with applications taken from November. Letters close December 10. Cost $1.
