Vision Statement and Objectives

Vision Statement:

Central Coast Neighbourhood and Community Centres' Forum exists to empower Neighbourhood and Community Centres to work collectively on issues affecting Centres.

Aims and Objectives of the Forum:


  1. To actively lobby and advocate as a united forum on issues identified as relevant and important to Neighbourhood and Community Centres as well as the Community.


  1. To act as a support network for services and workers, both on a formal and informal basis.


  1. To enable a forum whereby Neighbourhood and Community Centres can exchange resources and information about the activities and services provided.


  1. To act as a communication link between LCSA, other peaks, Government Bodies, Councils and Central Coast Neighbourhood and Community Centres.


  1. To identify relevant training needs of the forum members and lobby for the provision of training.


  1. To promote the philosophy and need for Neighbourhood and Community Centres and Community Development.
